Implementing oracy across the secondary school

Yamina Bibi, deputy head teacher at Sarah Bonnell Academy, discusses her role in implementing the oracy program across the school. She shares how she and her team used research and evidence to develop and drive the initiative. The implementation included training staff in the Voice21 program and integrating the Listening Ladder into lesson monitoring processes. Yamina explains the system of learning conversations and action research groups the school has set up to monitor the progress and implementation of these strategies. Watch here.
